Fractional Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Services
RiGi Group provides senior AI advisory work focused on priorities, evidence, governance and delivery decisions.
What does a fractional CAIO do?
A fractional Chief AI Officer helps leadership prioritize AI use cases, assess vendors and workflows, define approval authority and review delivery evidence. It is a scoped leadership engagement, not an automatic transfer of corporate authority.
Fractional, virtual, outsourced or interim?
These terms describe different arrangements. Fractional CAIO work provides part-time leadership; virtual Chief AI Officer support can be remote; outsourced Chief AI Officer services are delivered by an external provider; interim Chief AI Officer work covers an agreed transition. Availability and the actual role are confirmed in a written scope.
How does this differ from fractional CTO services?
A CTO engagement can cover wider technology architecture and delivery. Chief AI Officer advisory services focus on AI adoption, governance, investment priorities and accountability. An engagement may combine responsibilities when they are explicitly agreed.
What would an engagement produce?
An agreed scope can include a prioritized use-case register, AI readiness assessment, vendor review, authority map, risk and evidence gaps, and an executive review cadence. Implementation and ongoing operation require their own commitments.
Where is support available?
Kansas and Missouri are our first focus, followed by Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Colorado. In-person work takes place at client locations by arrangement; remote support is also available. These service regions do not imply offices in each city or state.
